Russia passed the peak of unemployment, as the deputy Chairman of Government RF Alexander Zukov stated on Monday in the course of the visit to the Central Employment Center in Nizhniy Novgorod.
According to the Vice-Premier the dynamics of visits to employment centers all over the country begins to decline. 80% of people, coming to the employment centers, are lucky to find jobs with the help of these centers. As she said, in the course of the weekly monitoring in the labor market (beginning from October 1, 2008) this figure has increased 1,7 million people.
According to information of State Population Employment Service Department under Ministry of labor and population social protection RB 44919 citizens were registered as unemployed in the Republic on March1, 2009. Originally it was planned that in the course of 2009 this index wouldn’t exceed 52 thousand people.
