Strong drinks are becoming less demanded

The overall output of strong drinks sold has made up 814 thousand decaliters for the sum of nearly two billion rubles. At the same time sales of cognac are going on growing: for the last two months local shops have sold out more cognac than one year before. Same dynamics is observed on sparkling wines and champagne: 104 and 112% against the indices of the first two months 2008 correspondingly.
Sales of soft drinks have made up 16 thousand decaliters – by 40% less than in 2008.
One liter of vodka was purchased by retail trade organizations at 186 rubles on average. This is 18% more than one year ago. At that shops sold vodka to population at 245 rubles per one liter – 19% more expensive than one year earlier. Average vodka extra charge makes up 25%.
