Preparations for the VIII Congress of oil-gas producers and for the exhibition “Gas, Oil, Technologies-2009” are going on

Republic of Bashkortostan is going on preparing for the VIII Congress of oil-gas producers and for the XVII international specialized exhibition “Gas, Oil, Technologies-2009”. The steering committee for holding the Congress and the exhibition has gathered for a meeting in Trade-Industry Chamber RB the day before.

Chairman of Trade-Industry Chamber RB and the head of the steering committee Sergey Efremov reports the Congress and the exhibition will be held in Ufa on May 26-29. Government RB, Trade-Industry Chamber RB, the Union of oil-gas producers RF, JSC “Exhibition Center “Bashkortostan”, “Bashkir Exhibition Company” are the organizers of the Congress and the exhibition with scientific assistance of the state unitary enterprise “IPTER”, state unitary enterprise “The Institute of oil-chemical processing RB”, with assistance of Russian Ministry of power-engineering, Russian Trade-Industry Chamber, the Union of gas-oil equipment producers, Russian Society of oil engineers and Russian Association of oil-producers and oil chemists.

At present time 165 enterprises have already claimed their participation in the forum. Russia will be presented by 23 regions and republics (Nizhniy Novgorod, Samara, Sverdlovsk, Omsk, Rostov and Ryazan regions, Republic of Tatarstan and others). Expositions of foreign companies from Germany, Czechia and Swizerland will be present at the exhibition (JUMO GMBH & Co, KANEX KROHNE ANLAGEN Export GMBH, Phoenix Contact GMBH, ABO Valve, KLAUS Union GMBH and others). At present moment Republic of Bashkortostan is presented by 53 enterprises, such as JSC “Caustic”, Ufa State Oil technical University, JSC “OZNA”, “Ufa instrument-making production association”, “NOVOIL”, “BASHKIRNEFTEPRODUCT”, Ufa oil-processing plant, “UFANEFTEHIM”, “UFAORGSINTEZ” and others. Several scientific seminars and “round tables” will be held within the frames of the Congress. Plenary session of the Congress will be held on May 26 in the second half of the day in Ufa Congress-Hall.
