Austrian economic mission is found in Ufa

Austrian official and business delegation is found in Ufa. Its staff consists of the director of CIS countries department Austrian Federal Economics Chamber Heinz Walter, trade attaché of Austria Embassy in Russia Christian Fuxsteiner and heads and specialists of several Austrian companies.

The business contacts exchange is organized in President-Hotel today, where the guests are discussing prospects of cooperation with the representatives of Bashkir enterprises and organizations. The agenda and the staff of Republican representatives were composed taking the requests of the Austrian party into account.

“Here 27 companies of Austria, working in different branches of economics are presented” – M-r Heinz Walter said at the opening ceremony – “Production enterprises, service and consulting companies. The economic mission of Austria was held in Ufa last year and 20 Austrian companies took part in it that time. As we see now, the interest of Austrian business in Russia is high enough even in spite of the crisis”.

“We’ve already visited three Russian cities before” – Christian Fuxsteiner said – “We’ve left the best in the end because we have joint projects and joint ventures in Bashkortostan and I hope this meeting will become one more endowment to development of our bilateral relations”.

The first deputy Minister of industry, investment and innovational policy RB Robert Vagapov and chairman of Bashkir Trade-Industry Chamber Sergey Efremov presented Republic of Bashkortostan at the solemn ceremony.

The business contacts stock exchange will work today till 18 o’clock. The official part of Austrian delegation will work in accordance with the separate program. Meetings in Ministry of external economic relations, trade and business RB, in Ministry of industry, investment and innovational policy RB and Ufa administration are on the agenda.
