Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater will perform in Cheboksary

The Rudolf Nureyev ballet troupe of the Bashkir State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater will take part in the XXX International Ballet Festival. It will be held from March 15 to April 11 in Cheboksary.
As reported by the Bashopera press service, for the first time on the stage of the Volga Opera theater, two grand performances from Ufa will be shown, which have long entered the golden fund of world ballet art. These are Aram Khachaturian's "Spartacus" – a majestic and spectacular ballet staged by the legendary Yuri Grigorovich – on April 3 and 5, and Boris Asafiev's "The Fountain of Bakhchisarai" – an oriental legend in the choreography and staging of Shamil Teregulov – on April 4.
