The all-Russian event "Night of Theatre Arts" will be held for the first time in 2026. This unique cultural and educational project is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Union of Theatre Workers of Russia. On March 27—World Theatre Day—theaters and cultural venues across the country will open their doors.
The program includes evening and nighttime performances, backstage tours, open rehearsals, creative meetings, lectures, master classes, play readings, and other events that enable audiences to experience the art of theatre in new ways and discover its multifaceted nature.
"The events are designed for both the general public and the professional theatre community. This is an excellent opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of theatre and discover new facets of the art form. Participation in the events is free for spectators," the Ministry of Culture press service reported.
Details and the registration form are available on the project's official website. The application deadline is February 8.
