Konstantin Bogomolov appointed acting rector of Moscow Art Theater School

Konstantin Bogomolov has been appointed acting rector of the Moscow Art Theater School. Russian Culture Minister Olga Lyubimova announced this.

Igor Zolotovitsky previously served as rector. He died in the hospital last week.

Konstantin Bogomolov was a theater and film director, playwright, poet, and theater figure. For his contribution to the development of performing arts, he was awarded the honorary title of "Honored Artist of the Russian Federation." Since 2019, Bogomolov has been artistic director of the Malaya Bronnaya Theater, and since 2024, of the Melnikov Theater Stage.
