

The Russian government has been instructed to ensure the transfer of 100% of the shares of JSC Lenfilm Film Studio from federal ownership to the City of St. Petersburg within 6 months.
The decree comes into force on the day of signing.
Lenfilm is the oldest Russian film studio and one of the centers of the domestic film industry. It was founded on April 30, 1918, by decision of the People's Commissar of Education in Petrograd. It has been known as Lenfilm since 1934.
The studio's first feature film, "Condensation," was released in 1918. The Bronze Horseman film studio logo was created by artist M. Bologovskaya and cinematographer E. Shtyrtskober and first appeared in the credits of the film "Workers' Settlement" in 1965.
