The Bashkir group AY YOLA has won two prestigious awards.
The Bashkir group AY YOLA has been recognized as the most popular ethnic group on the internet. The Ufa trio received the prestigious award at the 2025 Top Hit Music Awards.
A song by the Ufa group Homay also won the award for "Most Popular Ethnic Hit Online." Expert Oleg Luzin noted that the award is given to those who rank highly on global charts such as Shazam and iTunes.
The musicians were unable to attend the ceremony due to a tour. They thanked the audience and shared that the ancient epic poem "Ural-batyr" resonates with people across the country and beyond.
