Head of Bashkiria explained what is needed to develop creative industry

During the live Q&A with the head of Bashkiria, Almaz Vakhitov asked a question. He noted that recently, many sports facilities have opened, and there are also landmark projects focused on science. The resident of the republic requested attention for creative young people and the creation of spaces that would attract them.

Cultural sites must have proper infrastructure, said Radiy Khabirov. As examples of creative facilities, he mentioned "Arena 3000" in Ufa, as well as creative communities in Birsk and Sterlitamak.

"We have identified that, besides Ufa, there are seven other municipalities that want to engage more actively in this," said Radiy Khabirov. "I believe there will also be opportunities for creative youth there. Just as infrastructure is necessary for sports, for maintaining health, and for quality education, the same applies to culture."

The head of the region emphasized that 4,000 cultural institutions are operating in the cities and districts of Bashkiria.

"I always see the joy when you arrive in a village and find that the House of Culture has been renovated," highlighted Radiy Khabirov. "There must be infrastructure where people can engage in activities, as well as cultural workers and methodologists who help develop these initiatives. We have around 10,000 cultural workers, and all of this requires attention and active management."
