

The Abkhaz theater will present the musical "Golden Fleece," based on the poem by the People's Poet of Abkhazia, Mushni Lasuria. The poem is based on an ancient Greek myth, but the author infused it with Abkhazian features, reflecting Abkhazian thinking and their willingness to defend their land. The work combines elements of Abkhazian folklore, mythology, and philosophy. "Golden Fleece" embodies the cultural code of the Abkhaz people.
The director of the play, Honored Artist of Abkhazia Madina Argun, underscores the importance of faith and historical knowledge in her production. The composer is Honored Artist of Abkhazia, Agrba; the choreographer is Erik Tirkba; the costume designer is Stella Ampar; and the lighting designer is Illarion Pasania.
