Bashkortostan designers win prizes at International Fashion Festival

Bashkir ethnic women's and men's fashion designers Alfiya and Gulfiya Khammatova have won prizes at the 31st International Festival of Fashion, Art, and Design "Admiralty Needle."

The festival was held in St. Petersburg. This year, over 650 participants participated, 75 of whom advanced to the finals. Each designer presented four looks from their collection at the gala show.

"New experiences, new acquaintances, new horizons! This is an invaluable skill for us, a great contribution to the growth and further development of our creative path," noted the Khammatova sisters.

The winners were awarded a certificate for participation in Tajikistan Fashion Week and the opportunity to be featured on the first specialized marketplace for local brands.

Bashinform previously reported that designers from Bashkortostan had won acclaim among the audience in Kazan. At the 2025 Tamga competition for Bashkir costume designers, the Khammatova sisters won in the "Modern Designer Costume" category.
