Ufa will honor Mikhail Rabinovich's memory
On August 23, Ufa will hold a memorial day for the outstanding director, the permanent artistic director of the Russian Academic Drama Theater of the Republic of Bashkortostan, who has served in this role for many years.
The day will begin with the laying of flowers at the memorial plaque of Mikhail Rabinovich, which is installed on the house at 49/1 Dostoevsky Street.
Also on this day, the Russian Drama Theater will host a special showing of the play "Your Way", dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the director's birth. The production of "Your Way" was his last directorial work.
After the performance, a Theater Living Room will be organized, where participants will be able to share their stories and memories associated with Mikhail Isakovich. Theater actors will take part in this meeting.
Mikhail Rabinovich passed away in January 2021 at the age of 81. Russian theatre director and teacher, artistic director of the Russian Academic Drama Theatre, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Bashkortostan, holder of the Order of Friendship of Peoples and "For Services to the Republic of Bashkortostan", member of the Union of Theatre Workers, has directed the Russian Theatre in Ufa since 1984.
