Bashkir band AY YOLA will perform at Intervision. The musicians have become ambassadors of the international music competition. They will share the honorable mission with Dima Bilan and Klava Koka. As noted in the official AY YOLA community on social networks, for Bashkir performers, this is another opportunity to promote our culture.
"For us, this is not just an honorable role — it is a natural continuation of what we do. After all, our main principle is to connect eras and cultures through music, and the competition was created specifically for such a dialogue. In each of our songs, the epic "Ural-Batyr" comes to life — ancient lines rethought and told in the language of today. Therefore, becoming ambassadors of Intervision for us is not just cooperation, but a kinship of souls," the musicians wrote.
"Intervision" is a music competition organized by the International Organization of Radio Broadcasting and Television (OIRT) during the Soviet era. In 2025, by decree of the President of Russia, the competition will be revived. It will be held on September 20 in Moscow. About 20 countries have already confirmed their participation, including all BRICS countries.
Russia will be represented at the competition by the singer Shaman. People's Artist of Russia, composer and producer Igor Matvienko, will be a member of the jury of the competition from our country.
