Radiy Khabirov called Bashkir Opera’s victory in Golden Mask triumph of culture

Our region received six awards at once. The opera "On the Night of the Lunar Eclipse" of the Bashkir Academic Opera and Ballet Theater was awarded the Golden Mask in five nominations at once: "Best Work of a Conductor" (Valery Platonov), "Best Actor" (Vasily Efimov), "Best Actress" (Lyubov Butorina), "Best Work of a Set Designer. Musical Theater" and "Best Work of a Costume Designer" (both - Ekaterina Malinina).

"This is a record for our republic. Never before have theaters in the republic won so many awards. Earlier this year, the special prize "For outstanding contribution to the development of theatrical art" was already received by the puppet theater artist Airat Akhmetshin. Thus, in 2025, we already have seven "Golden Masks". This is a real triumph of our culture and recognition of the highest skill of our teams," said Radiy Khabirov.

During the meeting, Radiy Khabirov presented state awards to cultural figures.
