The Askar Abdrazakov Culture, Art, and Cinema Foundation is organizing a concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Irina Arkhipova — People’s Artist of the USSR, opera singer, teacher, and public figure.
The concert will take place on June 6 at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow.
The program will feature outstanding performers — soloists from the Bolshoi and Mariinsky Theatres, as well as Helikon-Opera: Askar Abdrazakov, Albina Shagimuratova, Elena Manistina, Andrey Grigoriev, Igor Morozov, Ekaterina Lukash, Lidiya Svetozarova, and Anna Viktorova.
The Tchaikovsky Grand Symphony Orchestra will accompany the concert under the baton of Artyom Makarov — conductor of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theatre, chief conductor of the Bolshoi Theatre of the Republic of Belarus and the N. Sats Children’s Musical Theatre, and People's Artist of Bashkortostan.

Irina Arkhipova was an outstanding Russian opera singer, People's Artist of the USSR, laureate of the Russian Federation State Prize, and a renowned vocal teacher. As Russia’s most highly decorated singer, she received many prizes and awards. She was named “Person of the Century” in Cambridge and awarded the title “Goddess of Art” along with the World Prize for the Arts “Diamond Lyre”.
