On April 25, the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan will host the opening of the exhibition "Feat. Memory. Truth: Dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of the Victory."
The exhibition shows the main stages of the Great Patriotic War in stages, as well as the fates and feats of our fellow countrymen-heroes, and life and work in the rear of Bashkortostan. For the first time, the museum exhibits a personalized box from the Order of the Red Banner, which belonged to the Hero of the Russian Federation, the legendary General Minigali Shaimuratov.
As the organizers of the exhibition explained, three essential and straightforward words were chosen for the name of the project for a reason:
FEAT - we honor everyone who fought, sparing no effort, for 1418 days and nights at the front and in the rear;
MEMORY — we remember the history of the greatest courage, the greatest tragedy, self-sacrifice, the triumph of the will of our people, the Victory of life over death;
TRUTH — we must not allow the truth about the events of the past to be distorted, for the sake of those who gave their lives and health, fighting for the Motherland, and won a victory 80 years ago, and for the sake of preserving the national identity and unity of our people today.
A diary will help visitors walk the 3-year, 10-month, and 18-day journey at the exhibition, whose pages, with excellent observation and complete honesty, will lead to priceless artifacts from the Great Patriotic War and unique stories of people who brought Victory closer.
