Ufa to join All-Russian campaign "Victory Waltz"

On April 26, as part of the city fountain opening festival "Melodies of Spring," Ufa will join the All-Russian campaign "Victory Waltz." It is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

In parks, streets, and squares, wartime melodies will once again sound, and couples will whirl in dance—like in May 1945. The press service of the Ufa mayor's office reports that anyone can join the campaign.

To encourage everyone to feel confident, professional choreographers of municipal cultural institutions will hold free waltz master classes. Classes will be held on April 10 and 17 at 19:00 in the I. Yakutov Culture and Recreation Park, which is on the square in front of the Motorostroitel Cultural Center, at the City Cultural and Leisure Center, at the City Palace of Culture, and in Victory Park, on the territory of ART-Kvadrat.
