

A documentary from Bashkiria has been recognized as the best in Russia. The winner of the short film nomination for the Russian National Award in the field of documentary films "Golden Candle" was the film "Vodyanaya" by the famous Bashkir director Vilyura Isyandavletova.
The film tells the story of postman Alena Aleeva, who delivers mail to remote villages. In the summer, she overcomes water obstacles by boat, and in the winter, she uses a snowmobile. In addition, Alena often walks part of the way.
The film's authors are director Vilyura Isyandavletova, screenwriter Magafur Timerbulatov, cameraman Rafael Sarvaev, composer Kamil Abdullin, and producer Yunir Aminev.
The film was created with a grant from the Fund for the Support of Regional Cinema.
The winners were announced in Moscow at the Alexander Solzhenitsyn House of Russia Abroad. The Golden Candle Award symbolizes the artist's creative passion. It is awarded for creating the most significant and striking documentary films dedicated to the most important pages of history and topical issues of modern life.
