Exhibitions are being prepared in Ufa for delegates of World Kurultai of Bashkirs

Exhibitions are being prepared in Ufa for delegates of the VI World Kurultai of Bashkirs. The expositions are located on the first and minus first floors of the Toratau Congress Hall.

The exhibitions will be presented by republican institutions and organizations, and folk craftsmen will also exhibit and sell their handicrafts.

As reported by the press service of the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the delegates will be able to get acquainted with valuable exhibits and museum traveling exhibitions. They will see the saber and saddle of the national hero Salavat Yulaev from the museum collection, the traveling exhibition “Salavat Yulaev: from batyr to Legend”, dedicated to the 270th anniversary of the bar’s birth, the “Gold Star” medal of the Hero of the Russian Federation General M. M. Shaimuratov, prototypes of the order and medal of General Shaimuratov made by the engraver Vladimir Nuzhdin, as well as the traveling exhibition “General Shaimuratov,” dedicated to the 125th anniversary of our hero’s birth. In addition, the museum will present a patriotic exhibition of a friend of Bashkortostan, Chelyabinsk artist Mikhail Voronov-Kushakovsky, “Not for nothing does all of Russia remember,” dedicated to the 210th anniversary of the capture of Paris by Russian troops in 1814 and dedicated to the participation of Bashkir soldiers in the Patriotic War of 1812 and the Foreign Campaigns of 1813-1814.

Priceless artifacts - the saber and saddle of Salavat Yulaev and the awards of General M. M. Shaimuratov - are presented in the permanent exhibition of the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Remember that on December 13, 2024, the VI Congress of the International Union of Public Associations, “World Kurultai (Congress) of Bashkirs,” will be held in Ufa, in the Toratau Congress Hall. This event, in which more than 800 delegates from different regions of Russia and countries of the world plan to take part, will be an important step in preserving and developing Bashkortostan's cultural heritage and strengthening interethnic unity and cooperation.

Earlier, Bashinform published an article in which the chairman of the historical commission of the kurultai, Azat Yarmullin, spoke about historical projects implemented recently. The chairman of the Kurultai of Bashkirs of St. Petersburg, Gulnaz Ibragimova, talked about how the Bashkirs of the Northern capital live, and the chairman of the executive committee of the Kurultai of Bashkirs of the Perm Territory, Rasil Mukhamatyanov, spoke about the Bashkirs of his region.
