A new museum space will open in Bashkiria on New Year's Eve. The attraction will be located in Sterlitamak.
The city administration reported that the apartment building of the merchant Patrikeev, built at the end of the 19th century, will open its doors after restoration to anyone who wants to spend time outside the home and learn more about the cultural code of the city and the republic.
From December 27 to January 13, the New Year's Festival of Author's Craft Museums will be held on the basement floor of the building. Artisans will open four exhibitions at once with delicious and authentic excursions and master classes that will be interesting to visit with the whole family: a museum workshop of artisan chocolate, a museum of sourdough bread, a museum of Bashkir Christmas tree toys, and the Rainbow of Painting museum.
A master class in each museum workshop is not just a practical lesson in making a product (chocolate, bread, Christmas tree decoration, painting) but also an immersion into the local culture and cuisine.
In addition to the museums, a market of handicrafts and designer products from the best artisans of the republic will be open for festival visitors from December 27 to 30 and from January 3 to 9.
