People's Artist of USSR turned 90

Today, People's Artist of the USSR Alisa Freindlich turns 90. The Chairman of the State Duma of Russia, Vyacheslav Volodin, congratulated the actress.

"Thanks to your multifaceted talent, you have won the love and recognition of millions of viewers. The heroines you played on the theater stage and in cinema have won people's hearts with sincerity and charm. Your professional skills and contribution to developing culture and art deserve deep respect," Vyacheslav Volodin wrote in his Telegram channel.

Alisa Freundlich is best known for her roles in the films The Straw Hat (1974), Agony (1974), Office Romance (1977), D'Artagnan and the Three Musketeers (1978), Stalker (1979), Dangerous Age (1981), Cruel Romance (1984), the film series Women's Logic, and the film One and a Half Rooms, or Sentimental Journey to the Homeland (2009).
