Ufa to host Tretyakov Gallery paintings’ exhibition
On October 31, the Bashkir State Art Museum Nesterov will host the opening of an exhibition of world-famous Russian artists. This unique event is an excellent gift to Ufa residents and guests of the capital of Bashkortostan in honor of the 450th anniversary. 49 masterpieces of painting will be presented from the funds of the State Tretyakov Gallery: V. Polenov, I. Kramskoy, I. Repin, V. Perov, I. Levitan, A. Savrasov, I. Shishkin, I. Kramskoy, K. Korovin, V. Serov, A. Rylov and many others.
Viewers will understand how Russian art changed from academicism to impressionism using classical landscapes and portraits as examples.
The exhibition will run until December 15, 2024.
