Ufa approves program for culture and art development

Ufa has approved the program "Development of Culture and Art in the Urban District of Ufa, Republic of Bashkortostan." The Department of Culture and Art of the Administration of the republic's capital is responsible for executing the program.

The total financial support for the municipal program in 2025-2030 will be 10.3 billion rubles from the federal, Republican, and city budgets and extra-budgetary sources.

The goals of the program are to increase the level of satisfaction of the population of Ufa with the quality of services provided in the field of culture and art, to ensure the preservation and strengthening of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values ​​in the field of culture, art and folk art; to ensure the availability of cultural benefits, the realization of the creative potential of city residents and create favorable conditions for the sustainable development of the sphere of culture and art; to provide conditions for self-realization and development of children's talents, as well as the education of a highly moral, harmoniously developed, patriotic and socially responsible individual based on traditional spiritual and ethical and cultural and historical values; ensure the formation of favorable conditions for the most complete satisfaction of the spiritual and aesthetic needs of the population, cultural leisure and recreation of Ufa residents, the development of their social and creative activity.

The decree applies to legal relations that arose from January 1, 2025.
