A digital photo exhibition, ArtReflection, will be held in Seoul (South Korea) on August 17. The exhibition comprises contemporary photographers and artists from three Russian cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Ufa. Among the Ufa authors are Bashinform News Agency journalist Stanislav Shakhov, Timur Sharipkulov, and Dmitry Mukhametkulov.
12 authors, including five artists and seven photographers, presented more than 60 works in various art forms, such as painting, sculpture, jewelry, and photography.
“The exhibition includes photos of Bashkir marmots, squirrels, and bullfinches. I chose about 10 of my photos for the exhibition. These are views of Ufa, ethnic holidays, and moments from my photo hunts. The organizers chose the three cutest: a family of Bizhbulyak marmots resting in the sun, a Beloretsk bullfinch, and a Ufa squirrel,” Stanislav Shakhov told Bashinform News Agency.
The organizer of the creative event will be the Center for the Development and Support of Korean Culture. The exhibition is dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the Center for the Development and Support of Korean Culture and the 140th anniversary of the signing of the first Russian-Korean interstate Treaty of Friendship and Trade in 1884, which became an essential milestone in the development of diplomatic, trade, economic, and cultural exchanges between the two countries.
