Beloretsk District of Bashkiria has once again been chosen as a location for filming a movie. This is a romantic story, "Once Upon a Time in Ufa," based on the fairy tale "The Scarlet Flower" by Sergey Aksakov.
"Yesterday, the film crew visited the village of Kaga in Beloretsk District. Today, they filmed footage on the territory of the city beach of Beloretsk and the Stone River. Beloretsk residents also took part in the crowd scenes," said Andrey Ivanyuta, head of the Beloretsk District Administration, on his Telegram channel.
The film is being filmed by the Moscow film company 12Kadr and the Ufa film studio Uralsky Kinopark. It stars Anastasia Panova, Denis Nikitin, Kamil Larin, Sergei Sotserdotsky, Polina Shashuro, and others.
Filming will continue in Sterlitamak, the Muradymovskoye Gorge, the Ural-Tau Ridge, and the Shulgan-Tash Cave. The release in Russian cinemas is scheduled for October 2025.
