Bashkiria will present its creativity at the All-Russian Children's Folklore Festival. According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic, from June 19 to 23, Kazan will welcome 1,185 participants from 80 regions of the Russian Federation. The Republic of Bashkortostan, in a large-scale project, will be represented by the Exemplary Choreographic Ensemble “Safar” of the Tuymazinsky district and the young kuraist Idel Tunnikov from Kumertau.
The event will include a costumed procession of All-Russian Children's Folklore Festival participants, a round table, outdoor concerts, and master classes with demonstrations and learning of regional games and dances. In addition, the program includes the festival's opening and closing ceremonies, a creative meeting of representatives of participating groups with representatives of government bodies of the Republic of Tatarstan, and the “Friendship of Peoples” round dance.
The All-Russian Children's Folklore Festival is being implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation within the framework of the project “Folk Art for Children.” The Folklore Festival events contribute to the preservation of the unique traditions of children's and youth creativity in Russia, the further development of cultural exchanges between regions, and will allow children and youth national and folklore groups of the country to be involved in the all-Russian creative process.
