Ildar Abdrazakov was awarded Russian Federation State Prize in Literature and Art

The State Prize of the Russian Federation in the field of literature and art in 2023 was awarded to a native of Ufa, People's Artist of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Ildar Abdrazakov for his contribution to the development of domestic and world musical art. Ildar Abdrazakov is a singer, Grammy Award winner (2011), one of our time's most sought-after opera singers, and a recognized master of Italian and Russian opera. He performs on the stages of the world's largest opera houses, conducts active touring activities, and participates in socially significant events and charity concerts.

Ildar Abdrazakov is the artistic director of the Elena Obraztsova International Academy of Music. In 2016, he founded the Foundation for the Support and Promotion of Young Talents, prioritizing the search, support, and promotion of young vocalists and the popularization of classical music. One of the most famous projects of the foundation is the Ildar Abdrazakov International Music Festival, which covers all regions of Russia and 40 countries of the world, within the framework of which concerts, performances, charity programs, and master classes are held.
