Bashinform News Agency literary editor Alik Shakirov has published new book in Ufa.

A book by the literary editor of the Bashinform agency, famous journalist and blogger Alik Shakirov, was published in Ufa. The collection “Memory is my salvation” includes texts the author has published over the past 10 years on his pages on social networks. Notes, reflections, confessions, memories of childhood and youth, various opinions, reviews of books read, new films, and premiere theater performances are collected in eight chapters of the book.

The final chapter, “Test of the Pen,” includes several essays by the author that represent the experience of literary creativity.

“I have long been thinking about collecting all my publications in recent years on social networks and print media under one cover. Many good, touching, heartfelt, important memories of a rural childhood, almost post-war, in the mid-50s - early 60s, were written. In addition, it was important to share with those not on social networks my previously written reflections on life, books, films, and theater premieres. What came out of this is for the reader to judge,” says Alik Shakirov.

The book is illustrated with views of the author’s native expanses of the Zianchurinsky district - a view from Shkolnaya Mountain to the village of Arsenovo, where he was born, and the village of Kuzhanak, where he spent his childhood. The book, published in paper and electronic versions, is addressed to many readers.
