World premiere of Murad Akhmetov’s ballet “Ural-Batyr” will take place in Ufa
The next concert of the “Golden Pages of Bashkir Music” subscription will take place in Ufa on March 22. The State Orchestra RB, under the direction of chief conductor Dmitry Kryukov, will perform works by two classics of Bashkir music at the Bashkortostan State Concert Hall.
The program will feature the world premiere of the music of the ballet “Ural-Batyr” by Murad Akhmetov and “Festive Sinfonietta” by Rauf Murtazin.
“This will be one of the largest concerts. The music of the ballet “Ural-Batyr” by Murad Akhmetov, which he did not complete, is one of his brightest works. “I can compare this music with the late Stravinsky,” Dmitry Kryukov said. “There is music of the highest revelations. This is the composer's last work. The language is clear, but there is an incredible element of saying goodbye to life. I have a very deep impression and very special emotions. Such music stays with a person until the end of his days.”
The conductor noted that if the music were completed, the theater could well stage this ballet by Murad Akhmetov.
