IV Cultural Forum “ART-Kurultai” will take place in Ufa

The IV cultural forum “ART-Kurultai” will occur in Ufa on March 10-11. Traditionally, the forum will become an integrated platform for discussing and adopting strategic decisions in culture, professional growth, exchange of best practices, and creative experiments.

The business program of the ART-Kurultai forum includes a plenary session, “Culture in the Dialogue of Times,” work in sections, workshops, and expert platforms. The breadth of topics discussed distinguishes the forum - implementing cultural and national policies, ideology in the modern world, education in culture, the activities of theaters, museums, libraries, an inclusive environment, and others. Several master classes (with Konstantin Khabensky and Igor Zolotovitsky) and screenings are planned at the forum. For example, on March 10, the play “Children of War (Memories)” will be shown on the National Youth Theater stage.

“Many interesting platforms will work in different areas, and famous speakers will come. This year, we expect the participation of representatives of Belarus, Abkhazia, South Korea, China, and regions of Russia. The forum's main topic will be the role of culture in society in the modern world. At the forum, we will discuss such important topics as patriotic education and the ideology of culture; we will talk about the fact that we must preserve and promote our eternal values,” Amina Shafikova, Minister of Culture of Bashkortostan, commented to Bashinform News Agency.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, the first cultural forum, “ART-Kurultai,” took place in Ufa on May 14, 2021, and coincided with the Folkloriada World Festival.
