Bashkiria residents can apply for second grant competition in 2024

On January 11, the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives announced the start of the application campaign for the second grant competition in 2024 to support projects in the culture, art, and creative industries. This was reported by the Department of Culture and Art of the Ufa Administration.

Applications through the information system фондкультурныхинициатив.рф can be submitted by non-state NPOs, commercial and municipal organizations (except state-owned ones) and individual entrepreneurs until February 20, 2024. According to the rules, the period for their implementation should begin no earlier than July 1, 2024, and end no later than December 31, 2025.

The competition results will be announced by June 11 of this year.

Projects are accepted in nine thematic areas: “Nation of Creators”, “The Great Russian Word”, “I am Proud”, “Place of Power”, “Cultural Code”, “Young Leaders”, “History of the Country: A History of Overcoming and Victories. Milestones", "Multinational People" and "We Are Together".

The following can be submitted to the competition:

intersectoral, network cultural, and cross-cultural projects;

startups in the field of culture, art, and creative industries;

projects involving the holding of festivals, awards, and forums in the field of culture, art, and creative industries;

educational and mentoring projects in the field of culture, art, and creative industries (including digital technologies);

projects in the field of contemporary popular culture;

projects to identify and support young talents in the field of culture, art, and creative industries;

projects in the field of culture and academic (classical) art;

creative industry projects include literature and publishing, design, fashion, art, music and sound design, architecture and urban planning, new media, multimedia technologies, cinema, theater, games, and the creation and development of creative industry infrastructure.

Bashinform News Agency previously reported that six Ufa cultural projects won the first grant competition in 2024.
