XXXII Volga and Urals Composers Festival will be held in Ufa from December 10 to 14. Composers from Tajikistan, Tatarstan, Udmurtia, Mari El, Chuvashia, and Mordovia are invited to the Festival, Leila Ismagilova, chairman of the Union of Composers of Bashkortostan, told Bashinform News Agency.

The Festival will open on December 10 with a symphony concert at the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater. Performers - State Orchestra of Bashkiria, Choir Chapel, and soloists. The program will feature works by composers: Nur Dautov, Rafail Kasimov (Republic of Bashkortostan), Anvar Sharafeev (Republic of Tatarstan), Ellina Arkhipova, Anatoly Tikhomirov (Republic of Mari El), Nina Kosheleva (Republic of Mordovia), Ivan Pushkarev (Republic of Udmurtia), Amirbek Musoev (Republic of Tajikistan), Andrey Galkin (Republic of Chuvashia).

Concerts with the participation of the National Orchestra of Folk Instruments and soloists will be held in the Chaliapin Concert Hall.

The concerts will feature the most striking works created in recent years by famous and young composers from Bashkiria and neighboring republics. At the symphony concert, among other things, you can hear the music of Rafail Kasimov, who recently passed away.

The All-Russian Volga and Urals Composers Festival is one of the brightest cultural events in our country, which has become widely known among representatives of the musical professions and connoisseurs of art in general. The Festival is held to unite composers of the Volga and Urals regions, exchange creative experience, promote the creativity of the republics, and attract art and music lovers, creative intelligentsia, people of different professions, pupils, and students to modern academic music.
