Russians named Konstantin Khabensky and Yulia Peresild as best actors in 2023

On October 12, 2023, the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VCIOM) presented a popular rating of the outgoing year's best Russian actors and actresses, films, and television series. The results of the survey were published on the organization's website.

Among the stars of Russian cinema, respondents named the top three actors - for the second year in a row it included Konstantin Khabensky, Sergei Bezrukov, and Vladimir Mashkov (12%, 11%, and 11%, respectively, of those who gave a meaningful answer).

According to Russians, the best actress of the year is Yulia Peresild (11%). Just a year ago, she was not even in the top five, notes VCIOM; the actress’s leadership in the ranking was secured by her leading role in the film “Challenge,” the first film shot in space. Svetlana Khodchenkova (5%) is again in second place, followed by Ekaterina Guseva (4%) and the leader of the 2022 ranking, Elizaveta Boyarskaya (4%).

In the category “best film” among Russian works in the past year, respondents named “Cheburashka” and “Challenge” (11% and 9% of those who gave a meaningful answer). Among the best are also the series “Next” (3%), “Dog” (2%), “First Department” (2%), “Doctor Krasnov” (2%), and “Daddy’s Daughters. New" (2%).
