Original board game based on region's heritage has been developed in Bashkiria

As part of the All-Russian festival “Let’s Play,” the Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan for UNESCO presented the board game “Heritage of the Bashkir Nomads,” the organizers told Bashinform News Agency. Remember that the festival is from September 14 to 17 on Sovetskaya Square in Ufa.

Game participants will get acquainted with some significant sights for our republic by moving around the playing field in search of resources.

The plot involves places associated with UNESCO projects and programs, such as shikhans, which are included in the UNESCO tentative list, natural parks, and historical sites. The main characters are the heroes of the epic “Ural Batyr”, and the action takes place in the traditional Bashkir flavor, using yurts, horses, and even bison, which lived on our territory 12-15 thousand years ago and now live again in Bashkortostan.

A test sample has been released, after playing which you can leave feedback and make suggestions. Then, work is planned to obtain a license for further distribution of the game; news of the launch will be published on the official website of the Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan for UNESCO in 2023.
