Ufa actor played Rooster in “The Musicians of Bremen” remake
Ufa actor Askar Nigamedzyanov played the role of the Rooster in the Russian full-length adventure comedy directed by Alexei Nazhny, “The Town Musicians of Bremen”. Today, a trailer for the remake of the cult Soviet cartoon appeared online. The premiere of the fairy tale film in a modern interpretation will be released in domestic cinemas on January 1, 2024.
The leading roles are played by Tikhon Zhiznevsky (Troubadour), Valentina Lyapina (Princess), Sergei Burunov (King), Maria Aronova (Atamansha), Konstantin Khabensky (Detective), Roman Kurtsyn (Dog), Askar Nigamedzyanov (Rooster), Irina Gorbacheva (Cat) and Dmitry Dyuzhev (Donkey).
As Bashinform News Agency found out, filming the new “Musicians of Bremen” took place from July to August 2023. According to the plot, the Troubadour and the Princess he saved go to a music festival in the company of his faithful animal friends. Meanwhile, some storylines from the original will be changed and expanded. Thus, the musical will show Troubadour's childhood and his acquaintance with animals.
