Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov: “National costume is identity feature of our people”

Today, Bashkiria celebrates National Costume Day. The Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, on his Telegram channel, recalled that this holiday in our region was celebrated twice a year - on the third Friday of April and the second Friday of September. This good tradition was started in Bashkiria three years ago.

“The national costume reflects our people's history, identity, and soul. Besides, I am glad that today it goes through revival. The people who inhabit the republic have lived in peace and harmony for centuries. Our friendship, diversity of cultures, mutual respect, and interest are the main wealth and powerful forces helping us resist evil. We are different but united – and it will be forever,” Radiy Khabirov said.

On National Costume Day, Bashinform News Agency congratulated the Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria, Andrey Nazarov.
