The traditional troupe gathering after the summer vacation was held the day before at the Bashkir Academic Drama Theater Mazhit Gafuri. The theatre's press service told Bashinform News Agency that the chief director Airat Abushakhmanov spoke about his creative plans for the next season:
“As planned, we open the 104th theatrical season on October 4 with the performance “Kilen” premiere. Firgat Garipov, Honored Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan, is working on the production. He considers classical melodrama in a new way. It will be more of a story parable on behalf of a young woman who managed to find her formula for happiness.
This year, the winner of the State Youth Prize, Ilsur Kazakbaev, will begin work on the work of Mazhit Gafuri, "Zayatulyak and Khyukhylyu", which is intended for family viewing. In addition, there are plans to put on several performances that will be offered under the "Pushkin Card".
Work has begun on the premiere based on the novel by Tansulpan Garipova, “Burenushka”. He also plans to stage a play from the world classic of William Shakespeare's "Hamlet".
The creative season for touring plans and participation in various festivals has been scheduled for a long time.
Before the opening of the season, the Bashkir Drama Theater team is also waiting for long-distance tours: on September 19-20, as part of the All-Russian tour and concert plan of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation "Big Tours", the theater will go to the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.
Shortly, there are tours around the republic and to Naberezhnye Chelny with the play "The Price of Happiness". The next tour of the Bashkir Drama Theater in Kazan is planned for November.
