The future Ufa Museum of Fyodor Chaliapin collection receives items from residents, Muscovites, Kislovodsk residents, and admirers of the great artist from different countries. Among them are local historians, writers, artists, teachers, and artists, according to Bashinform News Agency.
Among the presenters is the American philanthropist Peter Greenleaf, who donated a unique collection of Fyodor Chaliapin's audio recordings to the funds of the future museum. Iosif Darsky, a writer and researcher of Chaliapin's life and work, shared materials, books, and photographs from the United States. Professor Sergei Zhuravlev responded from Riga.
“The names of everyone who selflessly helps the Ufa project will be included in the book of presenters and will become part of history. And after all, books, magazines, records, postcards, and posters published during the life of Chaliapin, acquired with the help of benefactors of the Chaliapin Center, also appeared in our funds. Our main acquisition, of course, is people who love and appreciate the art of their native country, helping to preserve and develop it,” said Anastasia Baranova, head of the Chaliapin Museum in the Ufa project.
According to her, we must deal more with the documentation of the funds for the new museum. Work will soon begin on the reconstruction of the building of the future museum, the design, and the filling of the museum space. The organizers believe the Chaliapin Museum will become one of the most attractive tourist attractions for art lovers worldwide.
Recall that earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that 37 million rubles were allocated to create the exposition of the Chaliapin Museum in Ufa.
