"Golden Pages of Zagir Ismagilov Legacy" by Bashkiria National Orchestra

Bashinform News Agency continues to tell about significant events of the joint project by the Republic Management Center and the BST TV channel. Today it is featuring "Golden Pages of the Zagir Ismagilov Legacy", the creation of the General Director of the National Symphony Orchestra of Bashkortostan, People's Artist RB Artur Naziullin and Chief Conductor, Honored Artist RB Dmitry Kryukov.

Among the works are operas, ballets, musical comedies, cantatas, works for the choir, chamber vocal cycles, more than 300 songs and romances. The project program included the symphonic poem "Salavat", based on the Bashkir folk songs "Salavat" and "Ural". The audience was presented with a piano concerto and the "Festive Overture" for the first time. Popular works from the golden heritage of Zagir Ismagilov were also played there - for example, fragments from the opera "Salavat Yulaev", an adagio from the ballet "Crane Song", a cantata "I am a Russian", a vocal-symphonic poem "Immortality" to the words of Mustai Karim, an overture from the musical comedy “Kodasa”.

The orchestra's chief conductor, Dmitry Kryukov, noted that he made several additions to the unfinished piano concerto and other works by Ismagilov.

In October 2022, the Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov handed over the Republic National Symphony Orchestra the Salavat Yulaev State Prize in the field of literature, art and architecture.
