Bashkiria will finance show "Sadko" at Bolshoi Theater

The Head of Bashkiria signed an order to organize the opera performance "Sadko" from the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater repertoire on the historical stage of the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow. As Bashinform News Agency reported, the performance was put on the playbill for September 12.

The preparation and holding of the event are entrusted by the document to the Ministry of Culture and the Head of the Republic Administration. The ANCO for developing culture and tourism of the native land, "Miras," is appointed as the project operator. The Republican Ministry of Finance is instructed to determine the sources of financing.

The document notes that the performance's departure is "to develop operatic art, preserve and strengthen creative ties."

Indeed, lately, Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater productions have been held annually in the main theater of the country: in 2019 - "Faust", in 2020 - "Attila", in 2021 - "Don Quixote", in 2022 - "Vita Nuova".
