Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater season will open with gala concert

On August 29, the official opening of the new creative season of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater will take place. The gala concert, which the audience will see on this day, will be dedicated to the Bashkir ballet stars, the theater's press service told Bashinform News Agency.

Bashkir ballet is inextricably linked with the history of developing Russian choreographic art and its classical traditions. At the origins of the ballet troupe were students of the famous Leningrad Choreographic School. And the “father of the Bashkir dance art”, the student and assistant of the legendary Igor Moiseev, the founder and head of the famous State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble Fayzi Gaskarov, nurtured the first graduates. Having recruited and sent gifted children of the republic to study at the famous St. Petersburg school, he laid the foundation for the bright future of the Bashkir ballet. Since that moment, year after year, the team has been replenished with new personnel - representatives of various choreographic schools in Russia.

The names of the artists who glorified the Bashkir ballet in their native country and abroad will be remembered from the theater stage on August 29.

This evening, the leading dancers of the ballet troupe of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater will perform fragments from performances and choreographic numbers related to the work of their outstanding predecessors.
