Head of Bashkiria announced grant competition for cinematography projects

A unique grant competition for projects in the field of cinematography starts on August 1. It is held to support film production. The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, announced this on his pages on social media.

The collection of applications will last until September 1, and the results will be summed up in December. The grant amount is up to 15 million rubles. All details are at the link.

“I want our interesting, bright, talented Bashkir films to be more. So that new films in different genres appear so that the audience has the opportunity to watch them. This is especially important in the context of the struggle that unfolded against the backdrop of confrontation with the collective West,” said Radiy Khabirov.

According to the Head of the Republic, cinema halls are being opened throughout the republic to make domestic cinema available to the maximum number of viewers.

The Cinema Fund has summed up the competition results, and 4 more new cinema halls will appear in Bashkortostan - in Arkhangelskoye, Isyangulovo, Mishkino, and Novobelokatay. Since 2018, 32 cinema halls have been opened throughout the republic.

“This is a good pace, and we will move on,” the Head of Bashkiria said.
