"Summer Holidays" exhibition presents more than 70 works from Nesterov Museum in Ufa
The "Summer Holidays" exhibition is held in the Bashkir State Art Museum exhibition hall from July 18 to August 20.
As the organizers told Bashinform News Agency, the exhibition project included more than 70 works from the Bashkir State Art Museum of M.V. Nesterov collection. These are painting, graphics, sculpture, art objects, and arts and crafts. Their authors are well-known artists in the republic and Russia: painter and graphic artist Zufar Gayanov, painters Mikhail Spiridonov and Stanislav Lebedev, sculptor Firdant Nuriakhmetov, wood carver Ilis Yamaletdinov, bone carver Gennady Berezin.
The audience will get acquainted with lyrical landscapes, psychological portraits, and historical and genre compositions created by artists in classical and the author's technique.
The exhibition's name sets the viewer up for an easy entry into the exposition space. But this is only at first glance: the topics raised by the project participants have timeless relevance and are often interpreted metaphorically, the exhibition organizers noted.
