The Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater hosted the ceremony of signing a memorandum of cooperation and interaction between Bashopera and the Kyrgyz National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, named after Abdylas Maldybaev.
The theatre's press service told Bashinform News Agency that the document aims to create and strengthen cooperation and creative ties between theaters. It involves organizing joint projects, exchange tours, competitions, and festivals.
The first step in the creative dialogue could be the participation of the Ufa theater choir in the ballet-oratorio "Mother's Field" by Kaly Moldobasanov, created based on Chingiz Aitmatov's book. This performance is a monologue of an older woman addressed to Mother Earth and tells about a long, difficult life: how she lost people dear to her during the Great Patriotic War.
