The epic opera Sadko staged by the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater, will be shown on the historical stage of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia in Moscow. According to the plan for the 248th theatrical season of the theatre, published on the official website, the opera performance from Ufa will take place on September 12 as part of the VIII festival of Russian musical theaters "See the Music".
The opera Sadko by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov was staged by the Honored Artist of Russia, Askar Abdrazakov. As Bashinform News Agency wrote earlier, the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, announced the opera performance on the Moscow stage after the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre premiere. The opera is based on epics about Novgorod Hartman Sadko. During the performance, more than 200 people are on stage simultaneously - the opera and ballet troupes of the theater and the choir are fully involved.
The opera Attila by Verdi, staged by Ildar Abdrazakov, and Don Quixote by Massenet, directed by Askar Abdrazakov, were shown at the Bolshoi Theater.
