The participants of the All-Russian competition of ballet dancers and choreographers have been announced. This year the competition is held in the nomination "Choreographers". The competition will be held from 20 to April 26 in Yoshkar-Ola on the Mari State Opera and Ballet Theatre stage, the Muzobozrenie newspaper reports.
The grand opening will take place on April 20. As part of the opening of the competition, the Moscow Academic Musical Theater of K. Stanislavsky and V. Nemirovich-Danchenko will present one-act ballets "Bloom", "Little Death," and "Autodance".
Participants from 9 Russian cities are declared for the competition: Abushakhmanov Rinat (Ufa), Archaia Victoria (Moscow), Vergizova Daria (St. Petersburg), Vysotsky Nikita (Moscow), Dorofeev Anton (St. Petersburg), Laskov Vladimir (Yekaterinburg), Matulevsky Konstantin (Moscow), Mulyukina Vita (Rostov-on-Don), Pegarev Vyacheslav (Moscow), Pichkaleva Evgenia (Krasnodar), Pozhidaev Igor (Voronezh), Repitsyna Yulia (Chelyabinsk), Ryuntyu Alexander (Moscow), Simonova Lilia (Moscow), Shutylev Viktor (Yoshkar-Ola), Yudina Anna (Moscow).
The competition in the category "Choreographers" will be held according to the new rules in 2023.
