National project "Culture": art school repair began in Neftekamsk

The Neftekamsk children's art school is undergoing a significant overhaul of the building, thanks to the implementation of the national project "Culture". The city department of culture reported this.

The builders will repair the classrooms, the power supply system, and clad the facade of the building, and equip the entrance group. 29 million rubles were allocated for the overhaul, more than 24 million of which are federal budget funds.

The children's art school in this city of Bashkiria was established in 1969. Now 23 teachers work here, and 885 children are studying. The school has raised laureates and diploma winners of many prestigious international, Russian, and republican competitions.

The renovated classrooms will be completely ready for the new academic year.

“Participation in the national project "Culture" is an important step in the development of our school. The repair and modernization of the art school will attract even more children and adults, allowing them to unleash their creative potential and demonstrate their talents. And, of course, it will improve the quality of education,” Ruslan Gallyamov, director of the children's art school in Neftekamsk, emphasized.

As Bashinform News Agency previously reported, 113 children's art schools, eight secondary vocational institutions, and one university in Bashkiria train future professionals in the field of art.

More than 445 million rubles have been invested in developing 109 children's art schools in the republic in recent years alone.
