Ildar Abdrazakov will open next La Scala Theater season

Ildar Abdrazakov and Anna Netrebko will open the 2023-2024 season at the La Scala Theatre. The press service of the Ildar Abdrazakov Foundation reported this.

By tradition, the season’s opening will take place on December 7th. The new season at La Scala will open with Verdi's Don Carlos. Anna Netrebko will perform the role of Elizabeth, and Ildar Abdrazakov will play the role of King Philip.

According to the Head of the Milan Theater, Dominic Meyer, the Catalan director Luis Pascual will stage the play.
