Record federal funds were attracted to cultural industry in Bashkiria in 2022

Bashkiria fulfilled the national project "Culture" indicators in full. In particular, 27 cultural facilities were reconstructed and repaired in the region. More than 1 billion rubles were allocated from the republic’s budget for these purposes.

A record amount of funds for the cultural sector was attracted from the federal budget - almost 750 million rubles. Thanks to this, the overhaul of one museum and four children's art schools was completed last year. As a result, 1.5 thousand children improved their learning conditions. Another 17 children's art schools received 330 new musical instruments and 1.5 thousand units of educational equipment.

These data were announced at the national meeting on the results of implementing the national project "Culture". It was held via videoconference by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova. She outlined the priorities of the industry and critical tasks for 2023. The meeting was attended by the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, as reported by the press service of the administration of the Head of Bashkortostan.

Ufa plans to complete the overhaul of the National Youth Theater in 2023 and, by 2024, the reconstruction of the Bashkir Puppet Theater. As Bashinform News Agency reported, reconstruction is in full swing in its building.

The Head of Bashkortostan also noted the need for early reconstruction of the Ufa circus at the meeting. Recall that the head of the region outlined this issue at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in January 2023.
